Fantastic news, as Shiver is double nominated for this year’s prestigious television BAFTA Awards.
The nominations for the House of Fraser British Academy Television Awards in 2015 have been announced and we’re proud to announce that Shiver programmes feature in two categories.
The critically acclaimed emotive documentary The Miners’ Strike and Me earns a nomination in The Single Documentary category. The programme cleverly used rare archive and raw testimonies and reunions from both sides of the picket line.
And Shiver’s drama documentary series, The Great War: The People’s Story, is acknowledged with a nomination in The Specialist Factual category. The series poignantly brought to life letters, diaries and memoirs from the First World War.
This year’s ceremony will be held at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London on Sunday 10 May, two weeks after the British Academy Television Craft Awards on 26 April.
Our fingers are crossed for two winners this year but a double BAFTA nomination is of course, huge accolade in itself.
