Paul O’Grady and Shiver’s hit factual series For The Love of Dogs proved to be a British audience’s favourite at the National Television Awards 2014!
The programme has won the award for best Factual Entertainment programme at this year’s NTAs (and for the second year in a row). We’re absolutely thrilled for Paul himself, the creative and hard-working production team and the staff, animals and owners at Battersea Dogs and Cat’s Home, who the programme is all about.
A lot of work, emotion and creative effort goes in to making For The Love of Dogs Britain’s favourite factual entertainment show so we’re absolutely thrilled to bits!
The award means all the more given the stiff competition it was up against with An Idiot Abroad, The Great British Bake Off and Top Gear also nominated.
On accepting the award Paul paid tribute to “the real stars of the show,” the dogs! He added that “I didn’t know we were the first award!”
