Tim CarterManaging Director
Based in London, Tim Carter joins Shiver as Managing Director from his previous role as CEO of Warner Bros. owned, Twenty Twenty.
Over the past decade, under Tim’s leadership, Twenty Twenty built a reputation as a leading producer of documentary, specialist factual and factual entertainment formats, a robust children’s business and a burgeoning scripted slate. They created a raft of BAFTA, RTS and Emmy award-winning shows for the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 including World’s Strictest Parents, The Hoarder Next Door and Garrow’s Law, several of which have become global brands. Carter oversaw much of Twenty Twenty’s output including Channel 4’s First Dates and The Choir franchise for the BBC.

Ana De MoraesGroup Creative Director
Based in London, Ana oversees the company’s creative strategy and coordinates the development of new ideas across all genres.
Before joining Shiver in 2018 she was Head of New Formats at TwoFour, where she created formats including Change Your Tune and Make Me Younger. In her previous role as Creative Director for the BBC’s Development Central she coordinated development across all non scripted genres. And during the 9 years working at Twenty Twenty she was responsible for multi-award winning formats including The World’s Strictest Parents, The Choir and First Dates.
Jane SmithHead Of Production
Based in London, Jane works closely with the Tim and Shiver board to ensure the creation and delivery of successful content from an operational perspective. She line manages the Production Management team across all three sites – London, Media City and Leeds which comprises two Production Executives and 17 Production Managers.
During her career Jane has made programmes that were shot in the USA, Greece, Outer Mongolia, Alaska, Canada, Spain, and has worked location in the USA, Turkey, Australia, Fiji, and Scandanavia. She has also sailed on a Viking longship with 20 “Vikings”.
She has a track record of launching new formats including “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here” and “Hells Kitchen” and was very proudly involved on the first ever “Leaders Debate” and “Exposure – The Other Side of Jimmy Savile”.
David LambDavid is Finance Director for Shiver and ITV Studios’ in house Non Scripted labels, managing the departmental finance function and the team of Production Accountants. At ITV Studios he has led the finance departments for most genres including Factual, Entertainment, Daytime, Arts, Sport and Childrens, and has previously worked with Granada Film, the ITVS International Production offices and ITV’s Network Centre. Before joining ITV, David worked for BBC Independent Commissioning, Entertainment, Regions and the Corporate Centre, Talkback Productions, and started his television career as a Drama Production Accountant in Leeds.

Paul BroughtonHR Business Partner
Based in London, Paul works closely with the Tim and the Shiver board to support the people agenda across both the London and Manchester sites. Paul has worked with Shiver since January 2018 and has been at ITV since 2015.
Ceri AstonCreative Director - Shiver North
Ceri Aston is the Creative Director of Shiver North. Formerly the Head of Non-Scripted Programmes for Pulse Films, she was principally responsible for executive producing the studio’s non-scripted output. With more than 20 years of experience working across a range of genres including Fact Ent, Entertainment, Specialist Factual & Current Affairs, Ceri held a variety of roles at the BBC, including Executive Producer for BBC Entertainment North – during which time she oversaw Junior Doctors: Your Life in Their Hands and series 11-14 of Dragons’ Den, gaining a Bafta Nomination in 2014.
Mike BlairHead of Consumer and Current Affairs
Working out of Manchester and London, Mike looks after current affairs programmes like Tonight, consumer series including the Martin Lewis Money Show, as well as fast turnaround debates, documentaries – and ob doc series.Mike started out as a journalist in newspapers and radio before joining Central Television working in news and programme making. Later he joined Australian Indie Southern Star as their Head of Factual and ran wildlife specialists Oxford Scientific Films. He returned to ITV becoming part of the Regional leadership team looking after the Granada, Central and ITV Wales franchises. After two years at the network centre he joined Shiver in 2013.
Richard HastingsCreative Director
Richard leads Shiver’s entertainment department, overseeing shows including Pride of Britain (ITV) and Piers Morgan’s Life Stories (ITV). Since joining in September 2015, he has launched new titles All Star Musicals (ITV), Right Royal Quiz (ITV), Katie Price: My Crazy Life (Quest Red), My Millionaire Migrant Boss (C4), Stars in Their Car (Travel Channel) and the new Sixty Minute Makeover with Peter Andre (Quest Red).
Before joining Shiver, Richard headed up the BBC’s Factual Entertainment Development team creating formats like Home Away from Home and When I Get Older for BBC1; You Make Me Feel Like Dancing, The World According to Kids for BBC2; and Dads in the Delivery Room and Young Talent of the Year for BBC3. Previous credits include Light Lunch (C4), The Big Breakfast (C4) and My Kind of Music (ITV).
Mark RubensHead of Documentary Formats
Mark is looking to develop and make new documentary formats and returning series for all the main channels.
Prior to joining Shiver in 2017 Mark spent a decade at Warner Bros UK, including stints as the Creative Director of Ricochet and Managing Director of Watershed Television. During that time he developed and exec produced a wide range of series including BBC3’s BAFTA nominated Blood Sweat and T Shirts and Stacey Dooley Investigates, C5’s Cowboy Builders, C4’s Show Me Your Money and BBC2’s Extreme Dreams. Before that he was a commissioning editor in Channel 4’s News and Current Affairs Dept.
Sally EvansExecutive Producer
Based in Manchester, Sally execs a wide range of Shiver’s Output from Gino’s Italian Coastal Escape, Last Laugh in Vegas due to air in Spring 2018 to Michael Apted’s landmark ‘7 Up’ series as well as developing and pitching new ideas.
Since joining Shiver in 2010 Sally has gone on to develop and executive produce shows for ITV, Channel 4, BBC and Channel 5 including Alexander Armstrong: Land of the Midnight Sun, Gary Barlow: Journey to Afghanistan; Strictly Kosher, Hotel in the Clouds, Chatsworth, Ade in Britain, Hot Tub Britain, Big Fat Asian Wedding, Meeting My Enemy, Fierce with Steve Backshall and Britain’s Favourite Walks: Top 100.
Sally’s career started at the BBC working across documentaries and Entertainment where she Series Produced high profile shows including Honey We’re Killing The Kids, Bank Of Mum & Dad, Question of Sport, Mastermind and Street Doctor.
Mark ScantleburyExecutive Producer
Mark’s role at Shiver is to develop and executive produce a wide range of factual and factual entertainment programming for all the major UK broadcasters.
Prior to joining ITV he worked at the BBC for 8 years working on shows like Crimewatch, Watchdog and as an Editor on the daytime show Kilroy. Mark was head of factual at twofour where he created shows like The Millies; A Night of heroes, Vice Squad for Channel 5 and Road Warriors in Afghanistan for ITV.
At Shiver, Mark has developed and executive produces shows including Paul O Grady: For The Love of Dogs, Paul O’Grady Animal Orphans, I shot.. which was then rebranded as Unbelievable Moments Caught on Camera, Amazing Animal Births with Lucy Cooke, Countrywise, Scotland Yard with Sir Trevor Mcdonald, Gibraltar Britain in the Sun for Channel 5, On the Run with the investigator Mark Williams Thomas, Real Crimes and numerous documentaries like Being Paul Gascoigne for ITV.
Helen HoustonProduction Executive
Helen has worked at ITV for 12 years across both Entertainment & Factual programming. She has worked on a wide range of production for both internal and external broadcasters including ITV, ITV 2, ITV 3 BBC, C4, C5, National Geographic and Discovery.
Helen was the Production Manager on the highly acclaimed World In Action series 7UP having worked on 49Up and 56Up. She also benefits from ample of cross genre programming having managed Tonight, 60 Minute Makeover, The Jeremy Kyle Show and numerous specialist factual documentaries.
Currently, Helen is Production Executive in Shiver working across their Popular Factual output and her portfolio includes The Leaders’ Debate, Paul O’Grady for the Love of Dogs, Countrywise, Tales from Northumberland and The Nation’s Favourite Brand.
Joanne AustonProduction Executive
Based in London, Jo oversees a wide variety of our shows including Peston, Paul O’Grady For The Love of Dogs, The Martin Lewis Money Show, The Pride of Britain Awards and Come Dine With Me, to name a few.
Jo started her career in Leeds and Manchester working on shows such as Tonight with Trevor McDonald and The First Election Debate. After moving to London in 2010, she has worked on an extensive range of shows and genres including Factual, Specialist Factual, Factual Entertainment, Current Affairs, Comedy, Entertainment and Daytime.
Jo is also a BAFTA Sustainability Ambassador and was the driving force behind Loose Women becoming ITV’s first non-scripted show to be a recognised sustainable production through BAFTA’s Albert+ initiative.
