Guests so far have included Theresa May, David Cameron, Boris Johnson, Philip Hammond, Amber Rudd, Jeremy Corbyn, John McDonnell, Nicola Sturgeon, Nigel Farage, and Sadiq Khan – as well as Trevor Noah, Julian Assange, Romesh Ranganathan, Nina Conti, Jan Ravens, Bill Bailey and Louis Theroux from the world of entertainment, media and the arts.
Robert Peston says: “With controversial issues like Brexit, Donald Trump’s presidency, the North Korea crisis, and the emergence of Jacob Rees-Mogg as a favourite to be the next Tory leader sparking widespread debate, this autumn promises to place politics at the heart of public life yet again. With Peston On Sunday I aim to get to the heart of the big stories of the moment through lively debate, delivering unique insights into these major political issues, and looking beyond Westminster at matters affecting everyone.”
