All Star Musicals

West End legend Michael Crawford will guide seven well known celebrities through an all singing, all dancing musical theatre extravaganza.

ohn Barrowman hosts a brand new All Star Musicals alongside a panel of critics compiled of some of the West End and Broadway’s most distinguished talent, led by theatre legend Elaine Paige.

Broadcaster Alan Titchmarsh, money expert Martin Lewis, Only Fools and Horses actress Tessa Peake Jones, I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp host Joel Dommett, comedian London Hughes, Coronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank and Emmerdale actress Amy Walsh, aim to impress the audience and the star panel, all of whom are judging them based on their performing credentials.

The show, produced by Shiver, the award-winning ITV Studios label, sees a crop of famous faces take to the legendary London Palladium stage to perform an iconic musical number. Each of the celebrities, all of whom have been selected based on their stand out performance skills, aim to impress the West End audience, as well as the panel.

Each of the celebrities are mentored by Elaine Paige as they prepare to embark on this once in a lifetime performance. Elaine Paige is joined by Broadway icon, Tony and Emmy winner Kristin Chenoweth, dance sensation Kevin Clifton and West End star Trevor Dion Nicholas.

After each performance, the panel award the celebrities a score and at the end of the night, these scores are combined with the studio audience vote to crown one celebrity the All Star Musicals champion. The show features numbers from a range of famous musicals, both contemporary and traditional, with the theatre audience deciding at the end of the night whose performance wowed them the most. The celebrities are supported by a spectacular West End ensemble and, in the lead up to their big performance, received training from expert choreographers and vocal coaches.

All Star Musicals also features a very special performance from John, Kristin & Elaine, as well as a performance from the cast of Disney’s Aladdin.
