Shiver produces the only TV Leaders’ Debate to feature all seven of the main party leaders. The debate broadcasts live from Salford’s Media City Dock10 Studios.
On 2nd April at 8pm, ITV News’ Julie Etchingham hosts a live, two-hour debate between party leaders as the 2015 General Election campaign gets underway.
Produced by Shiver for ITV, the leaders will have the opportunity to each in turn answer questions that are asked direct by members of the studio audience, before the floor is opened up to a period of free flowing debate, moderated by ITV News anchor, Julie Etchingham.
The ITV Leaders’ Debate will give viewers the opportunity to see party leaders engaging in debate on significant issues, ahead of what is on course to be the most tightly contested election in recent memory.
The First Election Debate on ITV in 2010 made broadcasting history, and was the most watched factual programme of any kind during that year, with more than nine million viewers throughout its 90 minute duration. This year, the debate will be live on air for 120 minutes.
The ITV Leaders’ Debate, Thursday 2nd April 8-10pm.
